These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the It Matters website (itmattersmovement.com) and the It Matters mobile application (together, the "Service"), operated by It Matters (2026/128427/07) ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in South Africa with its registered address at Nooitgedacht Village Estate, Cinsaut Street. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use It Matters

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account and subscribe to It Matters. By signing up, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Subscription and billing

It Matters is offered as a recurring monthly subscription, currently priced at R69/month. Payments are processed securely by Paystack; we do not store your card details. Your subscription automatically renews each month at the price shown at sign-up, until you cancel. We'll give you reasonable notice on the website before any price change takes effect for future renewals.

You can cancel at any time from your account profile page, or by emailing hello@itmattersmovement.com. Cancelling stops future billing, but you keep access until the end of your current paid month; we don't offer pro-rata refunds for a partial month. If you're within 7 days of your first subscription payment, you may be entitled to a full refund under our cooling-off terms. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

4. Community impact

A portion of every subscription is directed toward community programmes as described on our website. The specific causes and allocation may change over time; we'll keep the website updated with current information.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it using methods other than the interfaces we provide.
• Don't share your account with others or resell access to the Service.
• Don't upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes someone else's rights.

6. Health and safety

It Matters provides general movement and fitness content for informational and motivational purposes. It is not medical advice. Please consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise programme, particularly if you have an existing health condition. You participate in any activity shown in the app at your own risk.

7. Intellectual property

All content, branding, and materials made available through the Service belong to It Matters or our licensors. You may use them for your personal, non-commercial use while your subscription is active.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; we'll post the updated version here with a new date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
